The Mid-Atlantic Sports Academy is proud to announce their partnership with The Athletic Movement.
The Athletic Movement utilizes the latest in slow motion video technology that provides immediate feedback to the athlete in a dynamic learning environment. About a dozen MLB teams use slow motion video technology including the (Yankees, Mets, Twins, Diamondbacks, Reds, Blue Jays) along with a number top college programs (USC, Miami, Oregon State and LSU).
There are no software programs to download or keyboards to navigate. The touch screen technology allows the coach to save clips, fast forward, rewind, side-by-side comparison and replay all with the touch of the screen.
One of the key functions of the technology is the immediate slow motion playback of an athletes’ swing, shot, save, pitch, kick, stride, punt, or pass. Any sport that requires a specific skill can be captured on our slow motion video technology live and played back immediately with the touch of the screen for the athlete to review with their coach or instructor.
Mid-Atlantic Sports Academy will be offering the opportunity for all sports to participate in The Athletic Movement Video Series . These sessions will be both sport and skill specific and will be run by the regions most experienced coaches and instructors.
The Athletic Movement Video Clinic is designed to give the athlete one on one time with a top level instructor's. The athlete and instructor will review via slow motion analysis the athletes technique and form for their respective sport. The athlete will then have the opportunity to work on the specific areas they need to improve by rotating through up to 5 teaching stations set by the instructor. |
